Immersive Online Music Workshops

What is it?

The “Collective Conservatory” is an initiative to facilitate meaningful, active, and immersive music-making experiences for communities. Experienced teaching artists are working alongside professional musicians and other cultural ambassadors to curate dynamic offerings under a holistic philosophy rooted in principles of:

  • Creative youth development

  • Restorative practices

  • Health and overall well-being

What do we offer?

The Collective Conservatory offers custom curated experiences ranging from 30-minute sessions to summer-long or semester-long workshops online. We aim to serve:

  • Community Music Programs

  • Public and Private Schools

  • Summer Music Programs

  • Individuals

  • Community ensembles

Who are we?

Led by Daniel Trahey, the Collective Conservatory’s Teaching Artist Curators have spent the last decade traveling the world as independent artists, honing and developing a technique called “Collective Composition,” where large groups of people compose socially-motivated music together. Since the Covid-19 outbreak, this dynamic team has been serving communities worldwide with groundbreaking online techniques and curriculums.

The Collective Conservatory has recruited a growing list of Cultural Ambassadors, volunteers with passion and knowledge to inform and support the work of the curators and communities. These musicians, artists, authors, public speakers, visual artists, poets, social activists, and community leaders are carefully woven into the fabric of our offerings to build skill set, inspiration, and connectivity.

Wellness Advisors are an essential part of our curriculums, providing insight and knowledge to promote health and overall well-being for all persons involved.
